Silver Lace Under Snow Flakes, 81"x12"
Reminiscent of the gorgeous vine I have started to plant with my art installations in my yard and fascinated by the look of them with tiny flecks of diamond like snowflakes. My gardens are greens and white with a touch of purple Clematis.
I love the delicateness of the small white flower. My painting measures 12"x 81" x2" and hangs wonderfully as shown in the space. That area on a long wall between doors or an area that is very narrow and you wish to bring colour to that space. I personally have this size of painting in my front hall (with love love love written over the entire canvas) of my home studio and love that it fits perfectly almost the entire height of the space while nestled between the door and the light switch. It adds an unexpected detail and colour. I consider commissions of any size or colour.
How “Silver Lace Under Snow Flakes” might appear in a space. This abstract artist Darlene Watson has used green white and a touch of grey with quick brush strokes and signature dripping on this minimally coloured long vertical abstract floral. I love how she has created these delicate petals reminiscent of the vine “Silver Lace”in this piece. She just mentioned to me that once these layers of paint are completely dried she will be adding a sprinkling of snowflakes or fairy dust whichever you wish to believe it is. It’s interesting how this artist creates as her gardens that she has been adding to at her home are white and green. Thank you dear friend for writing this for me.
