Castle Mountain, 40"x60"

Oil commission piece created for collectors. The area in Alberta was very special to them and they both liked my style of abstract. Although I did mention I had never created anything close to a mountain they trusted me enough to let me roll with it. This piece 40"x 60" with oil, impasto oil pieces off palette (for added textures) and built up areas of thicker oil on canvas was my idea of Castle Mountain Alberta. I have never been there so my ideas did come from one of their photos of their special place.
